Born and raised in Westfield, Indiana, Karen Hubbard exemplifies Hoosier determination and grit. A Purdue University Engineering graduate and McKinsey & Co. Alum, Karen made the bold pivot from corporate success to pursue the dual passions of entrepreneurship in conjuction with elite athletics.
As a walk on sprinter on the Purdue Track team, Karen's time as a competitor was shortened due to chronic illness. Years later through recovery and determination her athletic spirit led her back — this time through bobsledding. The move quickly proved her natural talent. Karen finished first in rookie camp at the Olympic Training Center and garnered 3 consecutive training camp invitations. Making her a serious Olympic contender.
With her background in both high-performance business and athletics, Karen brings a unique perspective to both worlds, embodying resilience, strategic thinking, and determination.
Karen's trajectory has been remarkable, but the road ahead requires both athletic excellence and significant financial backing to reach the Olympic stage.
