Westfield High School Class of 2016 graduate and Olympic hopeful Karen Hubbard served as Grand Marshal in the Westfield High School homecoming parade on September 25th, 2025.

Hubbard, a former WHS student athlete and two-time state medalist, attended Purdue University where she was a walk-on sprinter on the track and field team. Knocked down briefly by chronic illness, Hubbard returned to athletics in bobsled and attended the Team USA Bobsled Rookie Camp this year. Now an Olympic hopeful for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, Hubbard is raising funds for her hopeful journey. Team USA bobsledders are self-funded athletes who pay out of pocket. She is currently training to compete in Performance Camp and Push Championships with the national team.
